Dr.P.Mohanamani, Dr.B.Poongodi from KCT Business School collaboratively work on projects related to the farm enterprises and so attended a Millet Conclave organized by Kumaraguru College of Agriculture on 17 June 2023 for a knowledge update.  They attended the workshops facilitated by Dr. M.Umanath, Faculty Economics,  Madras Institute of Development Econometrics, Dr.Nirmala Kumarai, Faculty Plant Breeding, Dr. D.Malathi, Faculty Food Science and Mr.Saravanan, Dhan Foundation. Dr.Umanath deliberated on Food Consumption pattern and the results of a household survey that revealed the deficiencies. The participants included FPOs, start up companies, farmers, NGOs, faculty members and students.   The conclave was useful to both the faculty members as it would aid them to work more efficiently with the farmer groups. Erode District Collector Thiru Raja Gopala Sunkara presided the conclave, Chairman – Kumaraguru Institute of Agriculture, Officials from state Departments, EO- KIA offered facilitations during the conclave.

Dr.Poongodi B, Associate Professor, KCT Business School participated in the panel discussion on Corporates for Conservation at the 59th Annual Meeting of the ATBC 2023 Conference under the theme “BALANCING SCIENCE, CONSERVATION & SOCIETY” on 5th July 2023.

Dr.A.Latha, Dr.B.Poongodi, Faculty Members, Balaji M R, Joe Kennish, II MBA students from KCT Business School attended one-day seminar on “Accelerating Defence & Aerospace Industry in TamilNadu Defence Industrial Corridor” on 18 May 2023. The seminar was organized by Kumaraguru Centre for Industrial Research and Innovation, KI at Swami Vivekananda Hall, KCT.
