Workshop on Bibliometric by Mr. Nikhil D Jonathan, Assistant Professor, KCT Business School on October 17, 2024
A workshop on Bibliometric was organized on October 17, 2024. The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Nikhil D Jonathan, Assistant Professor KCT. BS and was attended by 10 faculty of KCT. BS. Bibliometric analysis is a quantitative method used to evaluate scholarly literature, helping researchers understand publication trends, citation patterns, and research impact. For faculty members, it is an essential tool to assess their work’s visibility, collaboration networks, and intellectual influence. Using R Studio for bibliometric analysis offers powerful libraries like “bibliometrix”and “ggplot2”, enabling detailed data visualization and analysis. Faculty can track citations, identify leading journals, and map research collaborations globally. This analysis not only supports performance evaluations but also aids in strategic planning for future research, identifying emerging areas, and improving academic output quality. The workshop was coordinated by Dr. ThamaraiSelvi P, Associate Professor & Research Coordinator
