Ignite 2024
The Ignite Bootcamp 2024 was a dynamic, three-day orientation from September 18 to 20, 2024, organized by II MBA students to welcome their juniors and ease them into their academic journey while promoting personal growth and preparing them for both academic and extracurricular challenges. Day 1, was themed “Understanding Thy Self,” focusing on self-awareness and goal setting through ice-breaking activities like Huddle Time and teamwork exercises such as the Tower of Triumph. A campus tour and a reflective session capped off the day. Day 2, “Engagement and Empowerment,” connected students with faculty and alumni through Faculty and Alumni Connect sessions, providing valuable career insights and guidance for future planning. Day 3, “Exploration and Enrichment,” featured creative exercises like Craft Your Career Pathway and Shark Tank-style pitches, fostering entrepreneurial thinking. An orientation on the Centre for Weavers broadened students’ understanding of business development. By the end of the bootcamp, students felt more confident in their goals, better prepared to navigate their MBA journey, and more connected to the campus community. Ignite 2024 laid a strong foundation for their holistic development, equipping them with the tools for both personal and professional success in the years ahead, ensuring they were ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities of the MBA program with newfound clarity and confidence.
