On September 30, 2016 Dr. Sunil Vakayil, Director, RVS Institute of Management Studies addressed a wide ranging discussion about “Sales management – Effective Selling Skills & Strategies” .The Guest lecture primarily focused on Personal selling Elevator pitch & also educated us on objection handling. In his introductory comments, Dr. Sunil deliberated about profiling and responsibilities of sales executive for the maximization of sales for a company’s products and how it will help in increasing the sales turnover that provides data regarding changes for the product in order to meet customer standards. He also reiterated on Personal selling as a method to promote sales and techniques for building personal relationships involved in a purchase decision. He then briefed about prospecting as a process to search for potential customers, clients, or buyers to develop new business.
