Guest Lecture

Guest lecturers offer students the opportunity to meet passionate, committed and critical people and to learn from them in various ways. Guest lecturers can act as role models and bring an authentic, vivid picture of the real world to students, thereby enabling transdisciplinary learning. Experiences and perspectives from local actors and entrepreneurs inspire students in their own (entrepreneurial) projects, creating motivation and an action-orientation.

India-US Trade Opportunities by Ms. Sindhu Bharathi K, Manager, Advisory Services at PwC India on January  25, 2025.

The guest lecture on India-US Trade Opportunities was held on January 25, 2025, featuring Ms. Sindhu Bharathi K., a distinguished trade economist and Manager, Advisory Services at PwC India. An alumna of KCT BS, she has over a decade of experience working with global organizations such as the Asian Development Bank, World Bank, UN, WHO, and the Ministry of Commerce, India. The session provided deep insights into India-US trade relations, discussing policy dynamics, emerging opportunities in technology, defence, and clean energy, and strategies to overcome trade barriers. Ms. Sindhu Bharathi emphasized the impact of global leadership changes on trade and highlighted key economic strategies for strengthening bilateral ties. The interactive session enriched participants’ understanding of international trade, offering valuable perspectives for those aspiring to pursue careers in global trade and policy. The guest lecture was coordinated by Dr. Sangeetha S, Professor – Finance.

Sustainable Development by Dr. Nalini Rajesh,  Certified Director, Human Resources Professional, Lead Auditor, and Change Management & OD Champion on December 17, 2024.

A guest lecture on Sustainable Development was organized by Dr. M. Rani for II-year MBA students on December 17, 2024. The resource person for the session was Dr. Nalini Rajesh, who holds a BA in Economics, an MBA, and a PhD in Management Studies. She is also a Certified Director, Human Resources Professional, Lead Auditor, and Change Management & OD Champion. The session was conducted in an online mode and focused on best practices in corporate sustainability while encouraging active student participation in new learning experiences. A total of 70 students participated in the event.
