E-Waste Collection Drive from March 19- 23, 2024.

KCT – Business School and Green Era Recyclers organized an E-Waste Collection Drive at Yugam Angadi 2024 at Kumaraguru Campus from March 19, 2024, to March 23, 2024.
As part of CSR initiatives and in alignment with SDG Goal 12 (Sustainable Consumption and Production) the initiative is aimed at raising awareness among consumers about efficient waste reduction, recycling, and responsible e-waste disposal methods. Madhumidha R 23MBA090, Pavithra M 23MBA109, Nivedha J 23MBA106, Padmavasan K N 23MBA108, Kunguma Sandeepan K S 23MBA082 coordinated an E-Waste Collection Drive mentored and organised by Dr. A.D.Shalini Prieya, Assistant Professor – Analytics, KCT Business School. The team received and welcomed 120+ footfalls in our E-waste Collection Drive Stall. The incentive approach of Discount Food Coupons in return for the E-waste disposal method provided a pivotal role in motivating participation. The team received a considerable amount of E-waste during the Collection drive. Along with the Students, Staff from KI Institutions also actively participated. This was the first time the E-Waste Collection Drive happened in our Kumaraguru Campus.
