Congratulations “Shark Tank” – an event to identify the best start-up idea, as part of Yugam, KCT’s intercollegiate and South India’s largest Techno-Cultural event, was held on March 2, 2023. 30 teams were shortlisted out of 170+ registrations received. KCTBS students Reshap G, II MBA and Vinothini B I MBA won the 1st prize for their product idea Lepidop and won the ₹40000 Cash Prize. Dr Deepa Manickam, Assistant Professor – HR Dr Deepa was the resource Person for Periyar University Capacity Building Programme on Life Skills Education for Scheduled Caste Students, Sponsored by Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India. She delivered a Session on EI and Interpersonal Skills on 3rd of March 2023. The session was attended by 104 students and was a very interactive session. A team of 45 students and a faculty member visited TTK Prestige Plant in Myleripalayam on March 18, 2023. TTK Prestige is known for its innovative and popular kitchen and home products, with a customer-first approach to all products. The visit was very fruitful as the students were able to know and understand the various statutory laws relating to a manufacturing unit.
