Student Association Investiture on February 6, 2025

The Student Association of KCT Business School Investiture Ceremony was held on February 6, 2025. The event marked the official induction of the new leadership team, fostering a spirit of responsibility and commitment among the student representatives. The event commenced with a warm introduction by the Master of Ceremony, setting the tone for the proceedings. Following this, the Student Association President, Ms. Divikshaa S, delivered a welcome address, highlighting the vision and aspirations of the association for the academic year. The Head of the Department, Dr. Mary Cherian, then shared insightful words, encouraging students to take up leadership roles with integrity and dedication. A significant part of the ceremony was the Badge Inauguration, where senior members of the Student Association were honoured with badges, symbolizing their roles and responsibilities in leading various student-driven initiatives. This was followed by the badge inauguration for junior members, officially integrating them into the leadership team and fostering a culture of mentorship. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the SA Secretary, expressing gratitude to all attendees, faculty members, and organizing teams for their support and contributions. The Investiture Ceremony was a momentous occasion that set a strong foundation for student leadership at KCT Business School.

TONE” by Untangled Echoes on February 7, 2025
TONE, organized by Students’ Association and hosted by Untangled Echoes at KCT Business School, aimed to foster mental wellness through creative self-expression. The event began with a welcome address by Akshayaa P, Chief Event Officer followed by an insightful session from Lathika Karthikeyan, Founder & CEO of Untangled Echoes, who emphasized the role of art in emotional well-being. Participants were divided into groups and provided with zentangle sheets and art supplies to create their own sketches using sketch pens, colour pencils, and crayons. After completing their artwork, they formed a circle for an open reflection session, where they described their sketches in a safe and confidential space. To further symbolize individuality, each participant left a thumb impression on their artwork, representing their unique self within the collective experience. The session continued with an engaging discussion led by Lathika Karthikeyan, who shed light on mental wellness, self-expression, and stress management techniques. Participants actively shared their experiences, highlighting the therapeutic effect of the activity. The event concluded with a feedback session and a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of the organizers and participants. TONE successfully blended creativity and mental wellness, encouraging students to embrace self-expression and mindfulness while strengthening peer connections. The initiative showcased the power of art as a tool for emotional well-being, leaving a lasting impact on all those who attended.
