Research Grant

The National Coordinating Institute IIT, Delhi of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) has approved and disbursed funds for the project, “Pilot Launch of Low-Weight Modified Jacquard, Improving the Livelihood of Handloom Weavers” under Technology Development Category of SEG-Rural Livelihood and Entrepreneurship Development scheme. Prof. Dr. G. Ramakrishnan, Head – NFRC & CW, Dr.B. Poongodi, Associate Professor, KCT Business School and Prof. Dr. C. Velmurugan, Head, Dept of Mechanical Engineering will be the faculty in charge for implementing this project at Samathur Village, Anamalai Taluk, Coimbatore District.  The project was presented on May 14,  2024 and Prof. Dr. Paramasivam K, Coordinator – UBA, Kumaraguru College of Technology, received the approval letter dated 25 July 2024 from the Coordinating Institute.
