ACBSP Team Visit to KCT Business School

Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) is a global business education accrediting body founded in 1988 and is the first organisation to offer accreditation to all levels of collegiate business educational degree programs from associate to doctoral.

ACBSP based on the Baldrige Education Criteria for Performance Excellence, assesses whether or not business programs offer a rigorous educational experience and commitment to continuous quality improvement, by evaluating aspects of leadership, strategic planning, relationships with stakeholders, quality of academic programs, faculty credentials, and educational support.

Kumaraguru College of Technology – Business School applied for ACBSP candidacy for the assessment year 2020-2021 and the self-study report was submitted in May 2023. A 3-member ACBSP evaluation team that consisted of Dr. Rajesh Khajuria, Chair Professor, FPT University Hoa Lac High Tech Park, Hanoi, Vietnam and two fellow team members, Dr. Sujata Mangaraj, Ravenshaw University, Odisha and Dr. Ramaswamy Nandagopal, SCMS Cochin School of Business, Kerela, was present at the KCTBS campus during Feb 14-16, 2024 for the site visit to assess the processes and to meet with the top management as well as the other stakeholders of the business school. The feedback from the evaluation team during the exit interview was positive and KCTBS is awaiting the final decision from the ACBSP Board of Commissioners.
