Yugam is the mega inter-collegiate event hosted by KCT year on year. Yugam 2018 had a myriad of events ranging from talks, technical presentations & workshops, cultural shows, pro shows . It is five day techno-cultural fest with a strong social standing of giving back to the world. KCT Business School conducted two workshops and three events as a part of Yugam 2018. A workshop on Entrepreneurship was organized on February 5, 2018 to encourage the spirit of entrepreneur among the students. The workshop was facilitated by MR. James Vineeth, Business Coach, Leadership Consultant. 286 students participated in this workshop. Elsa Joy, Student coordinator, was in charge of this workshop. The workshop addressed, how a budding entrepreneur could improvise and overcome all the possible hurdles.
Dr. Nalini , Assistant Professor, Centre of Marketing facilitated the workshop on Marketing in a Digital World on February 6, 2018 . 86 students from different colleges participated in this workshop, which addressed the marketing need of the current scenario. The workshop was a hands-on session on how efficiently digital marketing can be made use of, to promote a business and the emerging trends. The event was coordinated by student coordinator Aarthy PA
Corporate Carisma was conducted on February 8, 2018. It was a logo based quiz and brand talk where students from various institutions found a challenging platform to gather and share information about the global brands. 80 students participated in this event which was won by Tharun & team from GRD College and followed by Muthu & team from Sri Krishna College of Technology. The Business Planner event had 60 students from different colleges participating. Students from various management and engineering back ground pitched their business ideas on February 9, 2018. And the best Business Planner award was bagged by Ragul C V & Pradeep from Tamilnadu College of Engineering. The second place was bagged by Aravindhan T, Jeymuthu and Danie Joseph from PSG Institute of Management. The event Wall Street Wizard was held on February 9, 2018. The event was about ISL Football Bidding. 70 students from various colleges participated in the event. The student evaluator and volunteers guided the participants all through the event. The winners of the event were Arul, Kawin Balaji, Karthick and Muthupandi from Sri Krishna College of Technology. The runners up of the event were Nishanth Sanjeev, Subbu M and Vibashini G from PSG College of Technology. This event was coordinated by student coordinator Charulatha.R and faculty coordinator Dr.Sangeetha.S, Associate Professor , Centre of Finance.
