A Workshop on “Banking Laws- Perspectives and Practices” was conducted for the final-year MBA students as a partial fulfilment of the course on Legal aspects of Business. The workshop was hosted by Mr V.M. Mohan, Asst. Branch Head (Rtd), Union Bank of India. Coimbatore. The workshop witnessed in-depth and constructive discussions of concepts and applications of various banking and corporate laws that included the Negotiable Act (Ni Act), Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBP), Payment and Settlement Systems Act, and Limited Liability Partnership Act. The workshop was also attended by the first-year MBA students as a part of their Commercial Banking course. The programme was organized by Dr V. Kaarthiekheyan, Associate Professor, KCTBS.
