Career Readiness Program on January 6-7, 2017
Centre of Corporate Relations conducted Career readiness (Finishing School) program for the senior MBA batch students on January 6-7, 2017 with an objective to develop confidence and face the challenges as they enter their professional life. The program was conducted through a series of lectures by corporate experts across industries. Mr. Illamurugu Karunakaran –Cluster Head, HDFC Bank along with four alumni shared their views on handling the initial period of transition, managing work stress and time and strategies one need to follow during the initial period of a career. Mr. Nazeer Khan-Director HR, Cameron spoke about the importance of building connect both within and outside the organization for a successful career. Mr. Ganesh P M- Chief Marketing Officer, Pricol while speaking on Competencies and skills required for Career success emphasized the importance of effective communication and ability to work across different functions in an organization. Mr. T V Sriram –Vice President, Engineering & Centre, Robert Bosch shared his views on professional and corporate ethics and how several organizations today train their employees to be ethical in dealing with all the stakeholders.
KCT Business school always emphasis on working closely with society.A session on “Work beyond Workplace” facilitated by Mr. Senthil Kumar-Chief Executive Officer, Helikx who shared his experience as a social entrepreneur and the joy of giving back to the society. Dr.Vijila Kennedy, Director facilitated a session on self-leadership and Dr. Gokilavani trained the students on Email etiquette and 23 rules to be followed for corporate mail.
