Swagatham’22 is the inaugural function for the first-year students of the 18th batch of MBA & 1^st batch of MBA – Project Management was conducted on October 14, 2022. Our HOD, Dr Mary Cherian, delivered a speech of welcome and orientation. Dr Vijila Kennedy gave a speech on the institution’s culture and ideals. Our beloved Chairman Dr B K Krishnaraj Vanavarayar gave the presidential address by making a few promises to the parents and students about the secure future of their children. He also said that KCT will not only teach education but also imbibe the discipline and character that a person should preach in life. He sparked students’ thinking by saying “Have a Modern outlook, but be traditionally rooted,” and he exemplified this with the iconic leaders from history & the obstacles they encountered in achieving their goals. The students’ thoughts were sparked by his stirring speech. Over 170 freshmen attended the event. Three students who had just joined the programme gave their opinions about KCT, their goals, and the reason why they decided to join KCTBS for their education. One of the parents also talked about what he expected from KCT.BS and why he felt it was the best option for his daughter. The second MBA students gave the opening remarks for IGNITE’22. Dr. Vijilesh, Assistant Dean, OSA, gave a thank-you speech at the conclusion of the event.

IGNITE’22 is an event organized for Freshers to bridge their transition into an MBA program. IGNITE’22 was planned and organized to welcome the 18th batch of KCT Business School, from 15th to 18th of October. The three-day program comprised various activities and open houses that were aimed to familiarize the students with the curriculum and Life at KCT.BS. IGNITE’22 paved a way for the freshers to exhibit and inculcate essential managerial skills and acted as a medium for the freshers to get connected with their student mentors.
