Congratulations

“Shark Tank” – an event to identify the best start-up idea, as part of Yugam, KCT’s intercollegiate and South India’s largest Techno-Cultural event, was held on March 2, 2023. 30 teams were shortlisted out of 170+ registrations received. KCTBS students Reshap G, II MBA and Vinothini B I MBA won the 1st prize for their product idea Lepidop and won the ₹40000 Cash Prize. Lepidop works on establishing standardized sanitary napkin vending machines in educational institutions. The team’s goal is to fill a basic demand for sanitary products while simultaneously establishing a business that will hire underprivileged community members to make the napkins and help them raise their standard of living and bring about social change.
