Background:

Prof. S.Swaminathan holds a first Class Masters Degree in Management with specialization in Finance and honors Bachelor degree in Accounts (both from University of Calcutta). He has undergone advanced Management Course at INSEAD, Fountainblou, Paris. He has over 32 years of Industry experience in large Manufacturing, EPC and FMCG Organizations both in Public Sector and MNCs. He has handled various facets of Finance and General Management in global environment– with more than 12 years of experience in senior management positions as GM, CFO, Global Finance Director and MD-CEO. He was on the Board of Alstom BF and NTPC-Alstom joint ventures. He has to his credit extensive exposure in Start -up ventures, Contract Negotiations, Project Management, Restructuring, Union Wage Negotiations, Commercial and Factory Accounting and Internal Control procedures, Project Financing and Systems implementation. His Ph.D. research work was in the area of Finance relating to corporate performance. His personal interest includes Community Reach and Carnatic Music.
