As a part of retail store visit 45 I MBA students (Batch 2019-21) visited GRASP, textile retail shop on November 29, 2019. Mr. Giri Managing Partner, GRASP interacted with the students on various marketing strategies practiced to attract new customers and retain existing customers. During the discussion the speaker pointed that the first retail outlet of GRASP was started five years ago with an initial investment of Rs7000/ which has meticulously grown from one store to six stores today. Presently GRASP serves to more than two lakh customers. The resource person also informed that attractive retail store ambience, reasonable price, more varieties in all the product categories, strong sourcing points and commitment of core team are the major aspects which contributed in achieving great heights in retail business. Following the interaction with the experts, Students were encouraged to observe and interact with the customers to understand and describe the profile of market segment visiting GRASP. Dr. A.
