Dr B.Poongodi, Associate Professor, Co-Principal Investigator of AICTE-IKS funded project titled “Development and Application of Natural Dyes for reviving handloom and human wellness” visited Ayurvastra Natural Dye House and Kairali Exports at Thailampalayam, Avanashi, Tiruppur District. The team was headed by Dr G. Ramakrishnan, Professor & Principal Investigator and Dr R.Priyadharsini, Head-Fashion Technology & Co-Investigator. The team will be collaborating with Ayurvastra to develop natural dyes with bio-degradable mordants for handloom textiles for this project.
