Recharge 2021
The Recharge 2021 for Students of II MBA Batch 2020-22 was held on September 1 & 2, 2021. The 2 day program was divided into Peer Experience Sharing – Learning sessions and Faculty driven sessions attended by 123 students of Batch 2020-22. Day one began with Networking – more of an ice- breaking session which helped the students to understand the nuances of networking and how it is important for self development. The event was facilitated by Upasana Srinivasan (Batch 2020-22). The next event of the day was, Resilience Building which was facilitated by Ilakkiya K (Batch 2020-22). The event aimed at building emotional intelligence & resilience, it made the students realise the magnitude of every small thing present around them. This was followed by Before I Graduate, facilitated by Sanjana Prakash (Batch 2020-22). She gave a brief introduction for this asynchronous event which enabled the students to set short term goals and depict them as a vision board. This activity had an expected outcome of setting meaningful goals, short term objectives, and a clear path to the goal; in a creative manner.
The second day of Recharge’21 was conducted online, where parents of the wards were also present. The meeting commenced with a brief introduction into Career Progression and Placements by Mr. Sanjiv Srinivasan, Assistant Professor-Training. He explained in great detail about the past recruitment feats of the institution and also set the expectations from the students in terms of skill and knowledge. This was followed by Curriculum and Expectations, presided by Dr. Latha A, Assistant Professor-Marketing. She gave an over view of the curriculum and changes in terms of examination patterns and models. The activities and achievements of KCT. BS in 2020-2021, was presented by the Head of the Department, Dr. Mary Cherian. She offered insights and statistics on the performance of the students in various activities and competitions. The last session of Recharge’21 was Dodge Ball Review, facilitated by. Sowmiya V.S. (Batch 2020-22). The students were sent into the break-out rooms to discuss, gather thoughts, and present an analysis of a brand. One student from each break-out room presented their analysis to the gathering.
