Ms. Vanisree G, a HR Consultant and L&D Professional facilitated a workshop on Psychometric Tools for Recruiters for 24 I MBA (Batch 2018-20) HR students as a part of the Organizational Behaviour Course on March 29, 2019. She deliberated on the role and importance of psychometric tools in recruiting and talent development. Psychometric Assessments is a measurement of a person’s talents, includes personality but crucially also covers motivation and aptitudes as well and how these talents best match a role in the occupation. Key aspects that are to be followed in administrating a psychometric test and validity of tests, limitations etc. The psychometric assessments are not about good or bad candidates but rather the fitment of a candidate to the job profile. Students were administered DISC Profiling and their profiles were interpreted, discussed and deliberated during the session. Ms.Ramya Shree M of 2018-20 batch coordinated the workshop under the guidance of Dr. Kirupa Priyadarsini M, Associate Professor & Centre Head.
