Kannan, Professor, KCTBS, Dr. K.R.Senthilvelkumar, Professor, KCTBS and Dr. K.Vignesh, Head- Corporate and Industry Relations, KCTBS, along with seven students of the first year MBA batch, Catherine  Bhagyashree R (22MPM004), Dhanya M (22MPM005), Mukilan A K (22MPM010), Ajai Vikram A (22MPM020), Venkateshwaran S (22MBA168), Harish Raj R (22MBA049) and Shivaji M (22MBA131) attended the NARVIGATE 2023, a Two-Day Convention organised by National Association of Realtors – India and hosted by Coimbatore Association of Realtors (COAREA) on March 18 & 19, 2023 at PSG Institute of Technology, Neelambur, Coimbatore.

Following the Welcome Address by Mr. Ravi Varma, Chairman, NAR and Mr. C.R.Shivakumar, President, NAR, there was a Session on the Launch of Certification Course in Real Estate by Dr. Joseph Thanikal, Director, KCT, Prof. Anupam Saxena, Director, RICS, Gurugram, Mr. Ravi Varma, Chairman, NAR and Mr. C.R.Shivakumar, President, NAR. 

Shri Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, Isha Foundation, Coimbatore, Mr.Pushyamitra Bhargav, Mayor, Indore Municipal Corporation and Mr.Shanmugam, Former Odanthurai Panchayat President delivered separate sessions subsequently. This was followed by a Panel Discussion on ‘Unlocking investment potential for Indian Real estate’. The panel members were Prof. PSN Rao, Member, High Level Committee on Urban Planning, Government of India, Mr. Ranjeet Mehta, Deputy Secretary General, Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Mr. C.R. Shivakumar, President, NAR India and Mr. Ravi Verma, Chairman, NAR India.

The two-day programme had many such expert sessions delivered by Mr. P C Mustafa iD fresh foods, Mr.Vivek Agarwal, Co-founder, Square Yards, Dr.Gibson Vedhamani, Founder and Partner, Retail Solutions and Learning Technologies LLP, Mumbai, Ms.Dilshad Master Kumar, Adventurer & Explorer, Mr.Ramesh Jude Thomas, Founder, EQUiTOR Value Advisory Pvt. Ltd and Mr. Alvin James Saldanha, Founder, Brandarms respectively. There were also several Panel Discussions related to the theme of real estate business delivered by corporate leaders and experts.

The programme that ended with the NARTH Star Award Ceremony for Successful Real Estate Entrepreneurs and the subsequent valedictory session, provided a networking opportunity for KCTBS participants with business community, besides helping in understanding the career possibilities in the Indian real estate sector.
