NBA @KCTBS

KCTBS applied for NBA for the first time in the year 2019 and was accredited in July the same year for a period of 3 years. In 2021 in order to renew the accreditation, the department applied for accreditation and submitted the Pre-qualifier in March 2022.  The mandatory Self-Assessment Report (SAR) was submitted in the month of May 2022. The Peer Team Visit happened from June 17th to 19th 2022. Dr.Stephen DeSilva and Dr. Karampal Agarwal were the two Peer Team Members from NBA. The Team of experts visited the department where Dr. Mary Cherian, the Head of the department made a presentation of the department’s achievements, best practices, and highlights. Dr. Shripria, NBA Coordinator along with all Faculty Criteria Coordinators helped in the review process by interacting and submitting proofs of documents to be verified. The Team had separate meetings with the stakeholders-the students, alumni, parents, and the faculty on the premises.

The Team conducted a thorough audit and was appreciative of the sprawling campus and infrastructure, the academic process of outcome-based education, the CO PO Mapping Process, the Case studies developed, Student Admissions, enrolment, and Placements. However, the Team observed some areas of improvement to be in International connect and Collaborative programs, Research and Publications, Consultancy, and Student Start-ups.
