As the Head – Center for Entrepreneurship she was the instrumental in designing the Curriculum for various courses offered by the center – Startup launchpad, Design thinking, Startup tools & methods, Managing innovation, Social entrepreneurship and Family business management. She is the Coordinator for various entrepreneurship Immersion projects and Business plan carried out by students as a part of their academic work. She is the Lead Coordinator, Entrepreneurship Development Cell at Kumaragur College of Technology.

She has been Appointed as the Member Advisory Council for Research in entrepreneurship by EDI, Govt of Tamilnadu and the Nodal Hub Coordinator – EDI ,Government of Tamilnadu- Coordinating and mentoring the entrepreneurship activities of 25+ HEI in the region. She has conducted many FDP’s,EDP’s and Student programs on entrepreneurship inside and outside the college. She is an NEN certified Mentor involved in mentoring women entrepreneurs and student entrepreneurs in the region.

She holds the prestigious post of the Charter President at Women Entrepreneurs – Coimbatore chapter, which is growing forum of 25 + members building a strong network for women in business.

Her research focuses on lean in manufacturing and entrepreneurship. She focuses on applying these principles in mentoring students and women create lean startups and msme’s reengineer to grow.

She pursued her Bachelor of computer technology from Coimbatore institute of technology, MBA, MPHIL and PHD from Avinashilingam University. She is a certified Green belt in six sigma. She was the recipient of the ISB GOLDMAN SACS 10000 WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS, Certification in Entrepreneurship from ISB HYDERABAD.

She has been the facilitator for various workshops on lean manufacturing, supply chain management, innovation, entrepreneurship, negotiation skills, Design thinking and Business Model for various colleges and msme’s.
