I MBA (Batch 2016) had a fun filled learning exercise on ‘Personal Selling’ as part of their Le Commerciante’ Marketing Forum Activity organized on March 4, 2017. Students had a wonderful opportunity to exhibit their intellectual capabilities and selling skills on this day. The students formed teams and sourced products / identified services for the customers in the campus. Such sourced products/services were prices tagged effectively to reach the target customers. The students were asked to use innovative Personal Selling approaches to selling these products for profit. Those teams that understood “Smart marketers don’t sell a product; they sell benefit packages” made profits and scored high in this round. The teams were assessed and awarded marks based on profit percentage, pricing strategy, and personal selling approaches. Ms.S.Swetha, Marketing Executive of the Students Association and her team organized this activity and the faculty coordinator was Dr.B.Poongodi, Assistant Professor, CoM
