Major Research Project under the Research Project Scheme of the ICSSR, New Delhi was received. A project grant of Rs. 5.55 Lakhs was sanctioned for the project titled ‘Investigation on Key Performance Indicators (KPIS) of Low Performing Khadi Institutions and Development of Growth Strategies for their Business Advancement’ for the period 2019-21. The focus of the study and is to investigate the reasons for downgrade of Khadi Institutions, (KI) and suggest suitable measures to improve the key performance indicators for development. The study will also help the KIs to identify their strengths and weaknesses. The study suggests improvisation strategies and best practices for major parameters that are considered for assessing the Khadi Institutions. Dr. S. Jaisankar, Project Director and Dr. P.
