Finance Forum Guest lecture on Personal Savings and Stock Market Investing by Mr Gowtham Dhamotharaswamy, Social Entrepreneur, Professional Trainer, and Wealth Coach on November 05, 2022.
This session was to understand what, how and when of personal savings and stock market investments. Mr Gowtham Dhamotharaswamy guided the students through the myths of personal saving products and gave a detailed understanding of the saving products to invest in to become financially independent. Next, the speaker provided details on the stock market overview and about the fundamental and technical analysis used for trading.
The session was conducted for 2nd-year Finance and NISM tour students under the guidance of Dr Susana D, Assistant Professor II, KCTBS


Guest lecture on Life of a Project by Mr Sankar Ganesh Durai Pandian, Retail Omnichannel Delivery Leader, Tata Consultancy Services, United Kingdom on November 14, 2022.
A Guest Talk was arranged for MBA Project Management Students for the course, ‘Managing People and Organisation. The main objective of the Guest Talk was to make the students know the roles and responsibilities of a project manager. The Guest speaker Mr Shankar Ganesh Pandian takes care of TCS Project for the UK, he is placed in Singapore. It was very nice to have him online to interact with our students. He has 20+ Years of work experience in handling various short-term and long-term projects. It was an interactive online session. Mr Shankar Ganesh answered more than 15 questions raised by the team of students.

Guest lecture on IPO as a Long Term Source of Finance by Mr Savishesh Raj, Managing Partner, Cheiron Capital, New Delhi on November 21, 2022.
A Guest Lecture on the Topic, of IPO as a source of long-term finance was organized for II MBA, Corporate Finance Students on online mode. Mr Savishesh Raj, a Chartered Accountant was the resource person for the session. In detail, he briefed about the process of IPO and gave an insight about the working of secondary markets in India. It was an interactive session, and students clarified their doubts about the IPO process in India and abroad. The session was attended by 54 students who had opted for a corporate finance course. Mr Reshap.G(21MBA119) was the student coordinator and Dr Mohanamani.P Assistant Professor was the faculty coordinator.
Guest lecture on Sustainability Development & ESG by Ms Ana Cristina Campos Marques, Erasmus University, Rotterdam, The Netherlands on November 29, 2022.
Ms. Ana Cristina Campos Marques from Erasmus University, Rotterdam, The Netherlands is a sustainability expert, lecturer, researcher, mentor, and speaker with 20+ years of experience in a broad range of sectors, including education, chemical, and high-technology engineering. Has a track record of quality delivery in business and academia. Has academic, business management, and engineering background. She is the Founder of an online startup focused on sustainability education and innovation. And has International academic and business experience. She elaborated on the Changes to ecosystems due to human activities that were more rapid in the past 50 years than at any time in human history, increasing the risks of abrupt and irreversible changes. She also explained the SDG’s PROBLEMS. And the next topic was ESG – Stakeholder Prioritization Criteria & CIRCULAR ECONOMY- a total paradigm shift towards seeing business ethics and economic growth. She also explained about DONUT ECONOMY – AMSTERDAM. She was able to translate complex concepts into practical applications for different stakeholders and for students’ understanding as well.
