A half a day workshop was organized for I MBA (2014 Batch) students by HR Centre on Indian Ethos In Management on November 24, 2014.The resource person was Mr. Jayakumar Bharadvaj, coordinator of fine arts centre, KCT. The session was initiated in order to give knowledge on heritage, from which we can learn various management concepts. The session was mainly about the Indian ethos in management. The speaker, spoke about various aspects that influenced the people of various civilizations who have build monuments, sculptures etc. He taught about the various factors that helped the I MBA students to know how they can manage their resources effectively for building monuments. Temples comes under man made heritages and natural resources such as river, wind, bird comes under natural heritages. He gave a clear picture through real facts (manuscripts, inscriptions, sculptures etc) about the usage of temples in olden days. The students were able to correlate various functions of management with the help of this session. This workshop was coordinated by Dr. Hemanalini, Assistant Professor CoH.
