About the Speaker
V.G.Venkatesh is a corporate practitioner/ an academic specializing in Supply Chain Management and Logistics domain with versatile experience and background. He is a Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) from APICS-USA and having International industry experience from Honduras, Sri Lanka, USA, Hong Kong and Bangladesh in international supply chain practices. He has over 16 years of experience from Industry and academics. His background is supported by Masters in Manufacturing Management from BITS-Pilani and MFTech from National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), India and a qualified trainer in the commonwealth countries with PGCHE from NTU (UK). Currently, working as a Professional Teaching Fellow and Academic (Corporate Executive Education) at Waikato University, Hamilton, NZ and enrolled as a doctoral candidate with a prestigious Waikato University International Doctoral Fellowship.
About the Talk
This guest lecture is based on Global Supply Chain Opportunities and Challenges in the current changing environment of global business, suppliers(manufacturers) are gaining their importance in the supply chains. Many of the responsibilities are shifted to supply side. Students would be given the exposure to these new developments and changing global rules and regulations. In addition, the interaction will enlighten them on the steps to prepare for the global careers.
About the Organisation
