A Global Talk on Global Supply Chain-Opportunities and Challenges was organized on March 31, 2017. The global talk was facilitated by Mr. V G Venkatesh, Professional Teaching Fellow and Academic (Corporate Executive Education) at Waikato University, Hamilton, NZ for 150 students of 2016-18 batch. The talk highlighted the needs and integration of supply chain as a part of business activity. He discussed on supplier manage inventory, EDI, and future of global supply chain management. He also highlighted the profit maximization of the organization by implementing self-sufficing supply chain in the business line. The students were exposed to the global supply chain scenarios and also the challenges accompanied with the field.
