FINANCE – BEANSTALK

On November 22, 2014, Centre for finance organized the Finance forum for Batch 2014-16. The forum conducted IPL Auctioning. The activity took place, as in real time auctioning. The teams were given virtual money of Rs. 40 crores to invest on players. The Programme aimed at exposing students on Resource planning & management, strategy to be adopted in auctioning, Competitor analysis, Value creation etc. The Forum coordinator was Sangeetha S Assistant Professor (SRG) CoF

HR – C-SUITE

The Centre for HR conducted an activity for the IMBA Students on November 24 & 25, 2014. The activity was based on the values of KCT.BS namely Trust, Learning, and Competence. The main objective of this activity was to inculcate the sense of belonging among the students, help and encourage each other to perform well, be honest in whatever you do. The session was highly influential and the students were benefited from the activity. The value for day2 was learning and games were conducted. The students got insights of how to work in a team, be co-operative, and improve their analytical thinking. It also taught the students that there is some useful learning from every activity we do and we should not take it lightly. The Forum coordinator was Hemanalini R Assistant Professor (SRG) CoH.

LEAGUES & CLUBS

COMMUNITY LEAGUE

On November 15, 2014, 20 students of I MBA, visited Universal Peace Foundation and an orphanage and spent few hours with the children and senior citizens residing over there. The team visited and donated few sacks of rice, eatables like biscuits and gently used clothes. They played with the children and shared thoughts with the elders. There were few mentally retarded adults with whom they interacted 27 students of I MBA, visited Chinnavedampatti village as a part of Clean India Movement(SWACH BHARAT ABHIYAN). Students continued the Clean India Movement activity @ our panchayat village which was started on September 30, 2014-Gandhi Jayanthi Week. Event was organized by Mr M Shri Gowtham(I MBA League Executive) and Ms.Revathy (II MBA Leagu Executive) it was coordinated by Dr R Hemanalini coordinator Community League.
