Reflections on Angadi 14 on November 7, 2014

The Marketing forum celebrated the success of JSW Angadi with Reflections on Angadi 2014 on November 7, 2014. the program was preside by Dr. Vijila Kennedy, Professor Swaminathan and Dr.Mary Cherian Ms.Jeyalakshmi II MBA, Marketing forum Executive welcomed the gathering and shared her note of gratitude to the organizers, coordinators, participants, faculty members and the management for the grand success of JSW Angadi 2014 which was conducted on October 17 & 18, 2014.

Debriefing of the learning outcomes, challenges and suggestions for improvement was presented by Mr.Rajasekaran, II MBA, on behalf of the organizing team and by the stall owners. Dr.Vijila Kennedy, Dr.Mary Cherian and Prof. Swaminathan felicitated the student organizers, faculty members and the stall owners for the great event. Pleasantries and Awards were distributed to the contributors and winners of JSW Angadi 2014. The Posh Carnival and Rs.10 stalls won the overall trophy. Sri Swastik designers won the visual merchandisers trophy and Tasty corner bagged the highest sales trophy. Debriefing of the Angadi event helped students to assess their performance and correlate their class room learning’s with real time experiences. SYSTEM- TECHIEZ

Team Techiez, the Systems Management team organized the forum activities for batch 2013 students on November 17, 18 & 20, 2014. Regarding the activity, students were given a situation/scenario/case for which they suggested six online free apps that would help increase the productivity. Scenario was given on spot. Time was given for each team to read through the case and decide on the tools. Then, each team was given time to do the presentation, which gave the essence of the case and the six tools suggested to enhance productivity. To complete the activity, students were asked to go through the free apps that are available in internet one week in prior. Outcome of the activity was that, students understood to search for solutions that are already available, instead of designing/ creating a new solution.
