A team of 8 members consisting of B-School faculty and CMA office bearers visited Oriental Plants & Equipments Pvt Ltd., and Propel Industries Pvt Ltd., on December 15, 2021. This visit was initiated by Coimbatore Management Association for the B-School faculty members in Coimbatore. Dr. V.Kaarthiekheyan and Dr. K.R.Senthilvelkumar of KCT B-School participated in this Industrial Visit along with others. 

The first visit was to the factory of Oriental Plants & Equipments Pvt Ltd., at Ravathur, guided by Mr. A.R.Lakshmanen, Head-Training & Development, Propel Industries Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Raghavan, Chief Executive Officer, Oriental Plants & Equipments Pvt Ltd., . The visiting team was shown the various operations carried out in the plant related to the manufacturing of several components for the final product of Crushing Machine. Subsequently, the team visited Propel Industries Pvt Ltd., Sulur. Mr. N.Raju, Senior Vice President – Corporate HR/Legal explained the production processes in the plant which involve manufacturing of additional components and the final assembly of the crushing machines. The visiting team had an opportunity to interact with the officials. A brief presentation was made about the organisation followed by an interactive session to know more about their market position, competitors and export operations.
