KCTBS played the hosts for E-Leader Workshop on January 4-5, 2017. The two days session was facilitated by Dr. Lakshmi Meera, Assistant Professor & Centre Head, CoE. It was attended by 49 students from 19 educational institutions from various areas.The first day started off with introduction and various team building activities to discover their leadership in themselves. E-leaders from different colleges were grouped together and asked to come up with a substantial plan in a short time span. Wadhwani Way of building entrepreneurship on campus as well as their role on it was also explained. There was an interactive session of a student entrepreneur to motivate the skills and tools to realize their dreams as a leader and as an individual to get inspired from real -life E-Cell success stories and E- Leaders.
Day two saw the members again being teamed up for various intellectual activities that required out of the box thinking. Mr. Vishwanathan Sahasranamam, Vice President for FORGE stressed upon the importance of building business ideas. Students were asked to form groups and come up with a specific plan for the development of a community –Staying connected with other E-Cells and E-leaders, share knowledge and best practices with the better branding of e-cell in their institutions with proper structure. The workshop concluded with the importance of E-Cell, to use social media to promote key practicum programs and activities encouraging the entrepreneur’s Campus Companies and start up Internships.
