With the number of engineering graduates increasing year on year, engineers with Business and managerial skills have a distinctive edge. KCT Business school aims to nurture the leaders of the engineering profession by offering a Program through its Dual Learning Track – A part time Diploma program in Business & Management .The program aims at developing managerial and Business competencies for engineering students to be more effective when they take up Organizational roles by laying a foundation for future career enhancement. The Program introduces the learner to the activities, tasks and processes of organizations, increases awareness of their personal managerial abilities and provides greater insight into enhancing their effectiveness. It also provides an opportunity to reflect upon the participant’s management abilities and aspirations.

Objectives

1. Develop Engineer-Leaders who will be able to holistically approach problems and situations
2. Explore the potential and increase the awareness and self-confidence of the participant to effectively work with teams.
3. Learn and apply Business and management techniques in engineering projects when working with companies during projects and internships.
4. Apply appropriate knowledge, understanding and skills in marketing and Operations management.

Eligibility

The program is for II, III and Final Year Students who have enrolled for their BE and B.Tech programs and for ME/M Tech/MCA Students who are pursuing their degrees in Kumaraguru College of Technology.
