Guest lecture on Database Normalization was organized for students of II MBA (Batch 2019-21) on November 25, 2020. Mr. Senthilvel K an experienced Dotnet Full Stack Developer, who has worked in various flavours of Microsoft Technologies was the facilitator. He explained the principle of Normalization as a key to reduce redundancy. He reiterated how a table is to be designed and explained the interdependency between each and every table. He also clearly explained how the anomalies can be overcome and robust approach is achieved in database design. He also explained in detail about the five types of Normalization.
