Dr. B.Poongodi and Dr.Lakshmi Meera attended the one day national conference on “Agri First” on July 15, 2017 at CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex. The conference was organized by The Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore for farmers, aspiring farmers and non-farmer by storytelling method. Eminent speaker and Chairman of KCT, Dr.B.Krishnaraj Vanavarayar presided over the conference. The keynote speakers include Prof.K.Ramasamy, Vice-Chancellor, TNAU, Dr.G.Sivaraman, Siddha Doctor, Mr.Prakash Raj, First Generation Farmer cum Cine Actor, Mr.Bablu Ganguli, Timbatku Collective along with 12 others. The sessions inspired more than 500 delegates with the success stories of new generation farmers who have innovated to make farming lucrative. The session focused on sustainable organic farming practices.
