MDP’s (Management Development Programs) are specially developed for companies who want to create a batch, typically of 15-25 executives and train them on specific topics for a specific purpose.

MDP on Best Manufacturing Practices

February 2016

A Management Development Program on ‘Best Manufacturing Practices’ was organized on February 14, 2016 for managers working in manufacturing industries at supervisory and middle-level. The objective of the program was to train the 38 participants by imparting knowledge on use of Lean Tools in manufacturing and to educate them to understand the requirements of supplier management practices adopted by OEMs and to become a Tier1 supplier.

MDP for Middle Level Managers of Cameron Manufacturing (India) Pvt Ltd.

August 2015

The Fifth edition of the Management Development Program on Building Excellence at Workplace was organized from July 29 to August 5, 2015 for middle level managers of Cameron Manufacturing (India) Pvt Ltd. It was a weeklong comprehensive program to build the behavioral skills of the participants. The inaugural session had guests from Cameron, Mr.Niranjan, Executive Director and Mr.Nasser Ali Khan, Head HR Cameron Manufacturing (India) Pvt Ltd. There were 21 sessions that were covered in the week long MDP which included two days of outbound training. The program had three different orientations of self, team and organization. The program brought together both internal and external facilitators who helped the participants to make the most of the MDP

MDP for Insurance Professionals

September 2014

A training programme on Excel basic and Excel finance application was organized for insurance professionals by Centre for Finance and Centre for Systems on September, 20 and 26, 2014. 20 insurance professionals participated on September 20, 2014 and excel basics sessions were handled by Ms.Priya Dharshini A and Ms. Sarasvathi TA Assistant Professors, Centre for Systems. On September 26, 2014 Mr.Aravinth, from Aptech, Chennai handled the session on Excel finance applications. The feedback received from the participants was very good. Building Excellence at Work Place (3rd Edition)

July 2014

The third edition of the Management Development Program on “Building excellence at Workplace” started on the 23rd of the July with Mr.Niranjan.P, Country Head CMI inaugurating the program. The week long intensive MDP focused on bringing out the best in the participants. there were 30 participants who took part in the MDP. The sessions revolved around self, interpersonal and organizational context. The facilitators for the program were from across Tamilnadu, session on yoga, the human face of the organization, workplace ethics etc., were well received by the participants. The week long MDP also had outbound sessions that facilitated the members to work in teams and enhance their working styles. The program concluded with a course dinner and certificate distribution to the participants. The participants were very appreciate of the program and were interested to get back to BS for further learning and knowledge enrichment.

KCT Business School was happy to host the second edition of the Management Development Program for Cameron Manufacturing India (Pvt) Ltd (CMI) a leading MNC for a week, from November 13- 20, 2013. The theme of the program was “Building Excellence at Work Place “ The participants were a group of team leaders and managers. The program focused on how employees can hone their workplace behaviors’ and skills so, they contribute efficiently and effectively to the organization’s mission. The session looked at three different perspectives, the individual perspective, the team or the group perspective and the organizational outcomes.

Executive Development Course on Management & Leadership

October 2015

The Customized Executive Development Course on Management & Leadership for conducted for 60 Sales Executives of Aries Agro Limited, Mumbai. Module 1 was conducted in February 2015.Module 2 included a Field Project by the participants from March – October, 2015. Module 3 – Management & Leadership, a residential program, was conducted at KCT.BS from October 26-November 7, 2015 focusing on various strategic management concepts at KCT Business School campus. The course was facilitated by KCT BS faculty and eminent industry practitioners using contemporary teaching pedagogies. Assessments were carried out at various levels and participants were graded accordingly. On successful completion of the 6 months program the participants were given certificates at a formal Certificate Award Ceremony on November 7 at KCT Business School, Coimbatore. Dr. B.K. Krishnaraj Vanavarayar, Chairman of KCT, presided over the ceremony and Dr. Rahul Mirchandani, Executive Director of Aries Agro Pvt Ltd, Mumbai was the Chief Guest.

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

November 2014

An Executive Development Program on Project Management Professional, PMP Certification was organized by the Centre for Operations at KCT Business School forworking professionals in service and manufacturing firms. The program objective was to impart knowledge and skills essential for a project manager in successful completion of projects. In addition, on completion of the program the participants can attempt for a global certification which can add a lot of value in their career.

The program was structured with four modules (Module 1 &2 – Class room sessions, Module 3 – Discussion session and Module 4 – Mock Exam) starting from November 15 to January 10, 2014. The program covers the Project Management terminologies, global standard for project management, fundamental practices needed to achieve organizational results and excellence in the practice of project management.

Mr.Girish, made an elaborate presentation with live examples on the topics covering all the functional areas required for a Project Manager to know in managing projects effectively. Topics on Project Risk management and Project Integration Management were also discussed. Participants were very interactive and involved in all the sessions. Feedback received from the participants was very good. 18 participants from various organizations (largely IT) participated in the program.
