The industry team discussed the low-weight modified Jacquard, new product development and tie-up with handloom weavers for KoraSilk and Coimbatore Cotton Sarees. The Centre for Weavers, Kumaraguru Institutions has expressed its support to tie-up with the skilled handloom artisans from Pollachi cluster. The CW has expressed its willingness to collaborate on the new product development using unconventional natural fiber.
