Reshap G, a candidate Master of Chess and II MBA student trained the interested I MBAs after the class hours. Dr.K.R..Senthilvelkumar, Professor, KCT Business School inaugurated the Master Class on 28 December 2022 and Dr.B.Poongodi coordinated its activities. There were two classes every week after class hours. As a passionate chess player for the past 16 years, chess has truly become a part of Mr.Reshap, the Master’s life.

The benefits of playing chess are tremendous. It enhances cognitive abilities, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. It stimulates creativity, builds patience and resilience, and fosters sportsmanship and social skills. Moreover, it acts as a stress reducer and contributes to overall well-being. In addition to chess, eleven students registered in the chess club also got the opportunity to peer learn on business strategies, solutions, and critical thinking aspects in the master class. Dr. Mary Cherian, Professor & Head, appreciated and extended her support throughout. The chess activities came to an end for this academic year in the last week of May 2023.
