On October 5 & 6, 2016 the Finance students of Batch 2015-17 visited various financial institutions like Banking, Stock Broking, Chits Funds, NBFCs in order to learn the modus operandi of these business. To mention a few institutions -Punjab National Bank, Repco Bank, Canara Bank, Sakthi Finance Limited, RBL Bank, Alagumeenakshi Finance, Destimoney Broking, Vijeta Broking India Pvt ltd, Alpha Capital, Tarapadi Cooperative Society and Thudiyalur Agriculture Cooperative Service Society were the institutions visited to gain practical exposure.

General Interest Courses was conducted for I MBA (Batch 2016-8) to enhance the student’s personality and prowess. Courses are offered based on the student’s passion beyond their regular subjects. For 2016-2018 KCTBS partnered with various institutes / experts in the respective fields like Coimbatore Arts and Theatrical Society (CATS) for Theatre Arts, Coimbatore Cinema Club for Film Appreciation, Hindi Prachar Sabha for Hindi Course, KCT Human Excellence Department for Yoga and Forge for Business Innovation. Classes commenced on October 21, 2016 with students undertaking their respective courses with great enthusiasm.

Currency trading workshop was organized on October 04, 2016 facilitated by Mr.Gowthamraj, Authorised Person, Sharekhan. Presentations was made related to Introduction to live currency market, and about the instruments used in the derivatives. Introduction about futures and how to trade with was discussed briefly.
