Dr.Mohanamani.P and Ms.Susuna .D, Assistant Professors attended a Faculty Development Program titled ‘Econometrics Model in Management Research’ organized by PSG Institute of Management on December 13-14, 2019. Sessions on Understanding the data, Application of Econometric techniques by using real time data and hands on usage of E-views Modelling Causality, co integration and vector error correction, impulse response and variance decomposition function were handled. Identified possibilities to introduce this as a modelling course in concentration in finance vertical and apply the techniques for the corporate project and research publications.

The objective of the course was to make the students understand the use of safety equipment and precautionary measures to avoid accidents at workplace and industry. A project grant of Rs. 5.55 Lakhs was sanctioned for the project titled ‘Investigation on Key Performance Indicators (KPIS) of Low Performing Khadi Institutions and Development of Growth Strategies for their Business Advancement’ for the period 2019-21.
