The Finance forum activity involved Budgeting, in terms of Investments and profit, Trading activities and quiz. This helped the students to know how to reduce cost of production and how to make profit in the business. Quiz on logo helped them to know about the logos and the brand image and the key point about the company. 149 students of I MBA (Batch 2019-21) participated in the finance forum.

The Student Association of BS organized a talent show for I MBA students (Batch 2019-21). The talent show was on November 14, 2019, 33 students took part in various activities. The main objective was to identify personal interests of the students and encourage them to exhibit their talents on stage. Events included singing, dancing, stand-up comedy, instrumental music etc., this was a platform to help the freshers to participate in upcoming events. 135 IMBA students were part of this event conducted by the SA.

“Ad Zap” ADZAP event is an attempt to evaluate the convincing capabilities of selling a really wacky or non-existing product. In a nutshell it is all about fabricating a scintillating ad for a given product. The forum helped student to bring out their innate Creativity, Time management skills &Marketing skills of the 80 students of I MBA (batch 2019-21). It also involved team spirit and co-ordination.

“Supply Chain Management Game” 52 students of I MBA (Batch 2019-21) were involved simulation activities of Quality Management & Supply Change through the 5S and Soda Pop game as part of the Operations forum activities. The students were able to understand the underlying principles of supply chain management and also how it works in an organization/ large scale industry.

“Team Dynamics” The HR forum taught 79 students of I MBA (Batch 2019-21) the nuances of team behavior and team dynamics. This will help students to understand the environment and culture of an organization. The forum focused on helps bringing a better understanding about the learning the psyche of other people in the organization and blending in with the team, to work towards the organization goals.

“Business Model Canvas” Entrepreneurship forum activities was conducted for 161 students of I MBA (Batch 2019-21). The activity involved building a Business Model. Students were able to understand a business model in a structured way. This gave insights about the customer Service, value propositions to be offered through appropriate channels, and how to build a profit making company.

MSME Awareness Camp on October 18, 2019 Two students of Entrepreneurship, Nivetha Ranganayaki and Sivadarshini II MBA (batch 2018-20) attended the MSME Awareness Camp on November 29, 2019 at CODISSIA, organized by District Industries Center, CODISSIA, COTMA, SIEMA, TIIC, NISC joint associations. Weaves 2019 on November 27-30, 2019 Vignesh Ram R and Kannan R, II MBA (Batch 2018-20) volunteered in the 2nd edition of Weaves, South India’s premier Textile Fair on November 27-30, 2019.

Keerthana II MBA (Batch 2018-20) participated in the Summer Internship project competition at SIMS 10th Annual International Research Conference at Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune on December18, 2019. She won the first prize among Pan India participants. She presented her Summer Internship project titled Market Analysis and Market Acceptance for a B2B product – A strategic approach using Porter’s five force model was done under the guidance of Dr.P.Nalini-Assistant Professor.
