EDI-TN Regional Startup Activation Program 2017-Grand Finale – Boot Camp & Conclave on March 23-25, 2017

In a quest to foster the emergence of tech startups from among the young minds of Tamil Nadu, the Entrepreneurship Development Institute-Tamil Nadu (EDI-TN), in collaboration with EDI-TN nodal hub at Kumaraguru College of Technology and FORGE Innovation Accelerator (in Coimbatore) has launched the Regional Startup Activation Program (R-SAP) – 2017. The main goal of this program is to identify, nurture and fund innovative ideas that have the potential to become innovative products and tech-enabled enterprises. Campus Start up- Olippadi on March 16, 2017

Olippadi, -is the Tamil translation of the word photocopy- the print house is a campus start up and its one of a kind in KCT. The most familiar start-ups are only food outlets but this one is a Reprography start-up. 9 engineers and 9 aspiring managers joined together to become entrepreneurs. The main investment was a capital of rupees ten thousand each. These 18 entrepreneurs manage the reprographic needs of 6000 students and 700 faculty of the campus.
