A Guest Lecture on Corporate Strategies – Current Trends and Practices was conducted online on December 10, 2021. The session was hoisted by Mr. Charles Godwin P, HR Leader and Public Speaker of Zoho Corporation, Chennai. The session was attended by 67 students of II MBA ( Batch 2020-22). The discussion threw light upon the current emerging strategies prevalent across the corporate worlds of the globe.T he students were able to understand and comprehend the applicability of various strategies followed across various industries. The session was organized by Dr. V. Kaarthiekheyan Associate Professor -Marketing.

A talk on Gender Sensitisation and its Global Impact was organized on December 10, 2021.  The objective of the event was to create awareness about different genders, the stereotypes involved around it and the unlearning and learning process for change. Gender Sensitization is a major arena, which needs to be introduced to generation Z for them to be inclusive and responsible citizens as well as great leaders in the future. As a part of the Research Methodology course a workshop on ‘Mendeley Research Management Software’ was organized on December 13, 2021, for I year MBA students (Batch 2021-23). The primary objective of the workshop was to educate the students to manage and share research papers and generate bibliographies for scholarly articles. Ms.  Krishna Rubhiga, Founder CEO, AmpereVoltage Consulting Company Pvt. Ltd and alumnus of KCT Business School was the resource person of the session. The speaker demonstrated how to download and install the open-source software and explained how to search and organize the previous research study paper publications. The workshop was also helpful for the students to acquire knowledge in developing managing research papers and perform a review of the literature. Around 170 students participated in the program. Dr. S. Jaisankar S, Associate Professor organized the webinar.

A guest lecture on Business & Investment opportunities in Sri Lanka was organized for students of Batch 2020-22 on December 10, 2021, to provide industry connect and learning to students.  The event provided an opportunity to start a business in import and export. The guest provided a quick reprise of why it is important to pursue entrepreneurship. He gave details of the environment for investing in Sri Lanka.
