A session on Business Analytics Applications and Use – Cases by Dr. Lakshmi Subbramani – HR and Data Analytics Consultant, Adjunct Faculty, United Arab Emirates was organized on May 5, 2021 for 41 students of I MBA (Batch 2020-22) -Data Analytics students.Theresource person gave an introduction about data analytics and business analytics. She reiterated upon business analytics and the features of business analytics. The verticals of analytics like, data architecture, data science, data analytics, statistical model building, were shared by her. She had also taught about types of file format uses in analytics like descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive with various practical and real time examples. Using the shared data set, the resource person practically taught business analytics in Excel. The examples which were given by her were easy to apply in the day-to-day life.  The Session was coordinated by Mr. Vivek Raj, Assistant Professor-Analytics and Student Coordinator, Sruthi S (I MBA).
