As a part of Brand Management course a guest lecture on “Branding for Industrial Products” was organized on March 13, 2019 for 35 students of batch 2018 – 2020. Mr.Aneesh Kumar C, Marketing Manager, ATS ELGI was invited to deliver the session. The speaker has almost 15 years of experience in the field of marketing, branding, product management, product positioning and sales. The resource person worked previously with top firms including Tata Motors and Mahindra and Mahindra.
The forum provided insights on brand related concepts more specifically on brand equity, brand association, brand personality and brand management process. The platform provided inputs on how the industries involve BTL and ATL strategies in building the brand. The speaker also explained the significance of research activities in identifying the hidden need of the end users and in designing product value by quoting live industry specific case studies. The overall program was coordinated by the student coordinator Mr. V.G Sanjay Kumar (I MBA) with the guidance of Latha A, Asssitant Professor, Centre of Marketing.
