Excellence Award for BSians at 11th BRICS –ABBS in China

Six students from KCT Business School II MBA (Batch 2018-20), Aravind K, Petes Liando, Jeya Vigranth R, Vivekananthan K, Deepakraj Kumar and Krishnakumar G participated in the 11th BRICS –ABBS Students’ Meet was held at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, China from November 15-17, 2019.

Industry Institute Connect

As a part of credit management course a guest lecture on the topic Risk – Return Analysis of Consumer Loans and Customer Profitability Analysis was conducted for the finance students of II MBA on October 18 & 24, 2019.

As a part of credit management course a guest lecture on the topic Credit Lending -Analysis of Financial Statements and Cash Flow Analysis was conducted for the Finance students of II MBA with on October 4th & 9th, 2019.

A guest lecture was organized for II MBA Operation Specialization Students (Batch 2018-20) on Industry4.0 on November 8, 2019.

A guest lecture was conducted for II MBA operations specialization students of the 2018 -2020 batch by Mr. G. Manohar, Head - Watch Case Plant, Titan Company Limited, Coimbatore on Emerging Trends in PPC for Productivity Enhancement on November 21, 2019.

Entrepreneurship Initiatives

Entalk is a platform, wherein entrepreneurs are invited to share their experiences with our students who have opted for Entrepreneurship. The event aims to provide industry connect and learning to students. The event will provide an opportunity to understand how to build a business and social entrepreneurship.

Academic Connect

Dr.P.Saravanan,Professor, Finance and Accounting , Indian Institute of Management, Trichirappalli delivered a guest lecture on Debt Equity Choices of Corporations in India on November 21,2019.

A workshop on Personal Values, was jointly organized by the Department of Human Excellence and the KCT Business School for 47 I MBA students (Batch 2019-21).

Dr. Nalini was invited as chief guest for a guest lecture organized by the Dept. of Economics at PSGR Krishnammal Higher Secondary School for Girls, Coimbatore on November 20, 2019.

Dr. Nalini was invited for the guest talk on Analyzing Organization and Environmental Factors for Business Growth for the Management students of Department of Management Studies, Erode Sengunthar Engineering College, on November 6, 2019.

Dr. Kirupa Priyadarsini served as a facilitator for a half day workshop on Applications of Quantitative Methods in Management using MS Excel for I year MBA Students at Bharathiar School of Management and Entrepreneurship, Bharathiar University on November 26,2019.

I MBA students of KCT Business school had orientation on Industry Immersion Project on November 13, 2019.

Four Entrepreneurship students of II MBA (Petes Liando. J, Nivetha Ranganayaki. Vl Keerthana. V & Aravind. K) attended the National Science and Technology Fair on July 31, 2019 at CODISSIA.

Alumni Connect

Ms.Ramya Shree, Alumni Batch 2016-2018 was the guest speaker for the Alumni talk on Changing Role of HR in Modern Times. She addressed the I MBA students of Batch 1 (Batch 2019-21) on November 1, 2019.

Jenyl Joseph, Alumni –Batch 2017-19 & Senior Associate CUB, Madurai, facilitated the company specific training for City Union Bank on November 23, 2019.

The campus recruitment for the batch 18-20 stated in August 2019. Number of recruiters visited us till end of November 2019 is 26 and number of offers are 55. We have placed 52 students across all domains and the details are here below.
