SCOPE OF THE WORKSHOP
Having understood the growing importance of Neuromarketing during recent times, the workshop will comprehensively address multiple Neuromarketing applications in the areas of branding, packaging, advertising, and retail store marketing. The workshop will unveil the different Neuromarketing techniques like brain mapping, eye tracking and facial recognition that would help marketers in successful launches, better store layouts, effective visual merchandising and better management of brand image.

PROFILE OF THE RESOURCE PERSONS
Prof. G.K Suresh, Head – Strategic Partnerships & Head – Marketing Centre KCT Business School
G. K. Suresh has over 22 years of Corporate experience with ITC Limited. His last assignment was as Vice President, New Category Development with the Foods Business where he oversaw the launch of Fabelle Chocolates and Sunbean Coffee. Earlier he was the VP-Marketing & also responsible for Marketing Services-Media, Research, Modern Trade, Packaging & Exports. Prior to that he was Head – Brands and Business Development with the Personal Care business where he oversaw the launches of Fiama Di Wills &Vivel across the categories of Soaps, Shampoos, Deodorants and Talcs. In May 2017, GK left ITC to pursue his long time passion of teaching. He is currently with Kumaraguru College of Technology Business School (KCTBS) as Head – Strategic Partnerships overseeing industry interactions and also heads the Marketing Centre.
Mohan Krishnan, Senior Consultant Kantar IMRB
Mohan has nearly three decades of experience in analytics, research and consulting industry. His experience spans diverse sectors in the area of technology and marketing issues. He has advised private and public sector companies, associations, and forums in sectors such as Consumer goods, ICT, Energy, Environment, Logistics, Steel, Automotive and financial services markets. Mohan has contributed several articles and research papers on a wide range of subjects. He is also a regular speaker and a visiting faculty at IIT Bombay, TERI University and IIFT Delhi & Kolkata since 1998 conducting full time courses in Marketing Research, Advanced Research Methods and Consumer Behaviour.
Janet Nair Head – West Region, Consumer Neuro Science, Nielsen
Ms.Janet Nair had around 12 years of experience in Market research and consumer insights. She has worked with both agencies as well as the client side across the globe. She worked on multiple product categories including Personal care, confectionery, tobacco, construction materials, media and even e-cigarettes. She has worked previously with Kantar, LafargeHolcim and IMRB International (now Kantar IMRB)
Dr.Shivadatta Prabhu, Director of Neurosciences, Nielsen Consumer Neurosciences
Dr ShivadattaPrabhu is specialised in Clinical neurosurgery. After an experience of more than a decade in clinical activity in India ,he went to France for research in neurosciences and obtained a doctorate for his original work in Deep Brain Simulation in pharmacoresistent epilepsy .He is working as Director of Neurosciences at Nielsen Consumer Neurosciences, India since 2013.He continues his academic activity by contributing as an adjunct professor of Nanotechnology in a government University in India and active association with his research institute in France.
Shikher Chaudhary, Director, Neurons Inc Asia
Shikher Chaudhary, a Cognitive Neuroscientist from King’s College London, heads the Indian division of Neurons Inc, a global applied neuroscience firm. As a researcher Shikher works to bridge the gap between academia and industry, applying insights from neuroscience research to consumer insights, education, health and artificial intelligence.
