Brief Abstract of Talk
He inspired the students of KCT Business School Batch 2016 with his words of experience. His journey as a entrpreneur is a dream for any aspiring entrepreneur and the students learnt entrepreneurship ” The natural’s way”. Two teams of students from KCT Business School pitched thier and Campus startup ideas to Mr.Kumaravel of his guidance and mentoring. A startup salon proposed by Ms.Swathi and team and a Photocopy shop for the college proposed by Ms.Sowmiya and team was well appreciated by the guest. Mr.Kumaravel has offered to partner with the student team to launch Natural’s Campus version at KCT and build the model across campuses in India. He provided great insights on building their business model. The words that inspired him ” One man / woman can make a difference ” – Mahatma Gandhi also sowed the seed in many young minds today to be the change agent.
About the speaker
Born into a business family that launched Velvette, India’s first sachet shampoo in the late 1970s, CK Kumaravel had worked under elder brothers CK Rajkumar, who ran the family business after the death of their father and CK Ranganathan, who had launched his own shampoo brand in 1991. Mr.C.K. Ranganathan – heads Cavinkare, a Rs.1100 crore company – handling the marketing of Chik Shampoo and Meera Herbal Powder.
With his very intuitive mind, Mr. Kumaravel, Co-founded Naturals Beauty Salon India Private Limited along with his Wife.
